Course Description:

The 13km long course features one of the longest ascents in the GutBuster Series followed by fast flowing single-track trails as you descend back towards Providence Farm. Watch out for the WALL and be ready for two amazing views of the Valley on the way up.

This years short course follows the same route as last year, still providing amazing views of the Cowichan Valley and more time spent on up on Tzouhalem. Power hikers welcome on this course.

Check In: 8:30-9:30 am (please don't be late)

Short Course ~ 7 km
Long Course ~ 13 km

Race Starts: 10:00 am SHARP (both the Short and Regular course will start at the same time)
Course Closes: 12:00 pm
Directions: When in Duncan, turn east off Highway 1 onto Trunk Road. As you drive along Trunk Road it becomes Tzouhalem Road. You will pass a 7-Eleven. You will come to a fork in the road. Stay to the Right. Follow this road until you see the sign for Providence Farm and turn left up the driveway.

3. Drop off your entry at any Frontrunners (must be submitted by Wednesday before race day).
4. Come early on Race Day.

Team Category :

Individual members running for a club will score for their clubs total. The club with the highest point totals at the end of the series will win a lunch at Fat Teddy's on Mount Washington following the last race of the series.

Showers/Toilets: No showers. A public washroom is located at the race start/finish area.
Awards: Begins at 12:00pm or immediately following the last racer
Refreshments: Eload Electrolyte Drink plus plenty of cookies, fruit and bagels will be available following the race.
Post-Race Social: Join us for lunch at Craig Street Brew Pub, proud supporter of the GutBuster Trail Running Series.
Treatment: Cook Street Village Health Center will be on hand following the race to offer post-race therapy for racers.
