Racers in the long course will get up to the Cross lookout for a spectacular view of the Cowichan Valley.

Course Description:

The regular 11km course features mostly twisting single-track trails, steep and potentially slippery sections. Watch out for the WALL and be ready for two amazing view of the Valley on the way up. It's non-stop up to the top but once you summit, it's nothing but fast and fun downhill running -- let gravity do all the work!

We have a new 6km short course for 2007 featuring a great view of the Cowichan Valley and more time spent on up on Tzohalem. Power hikers welcome on this course.

Race Starts: 10:00 am SHARP (both the Short and Regular course will start at the same time)
Course Closes: 12:00 pm
Directions:

When in Duncan, turn east off Highway 1 onto Trunk Road. As you drive along Trunk Road it becomes Tzouhalem Road. You will pass a 7-Eleven. You will come to a fork in the road in the road. Stay to the Right. Follow this road until you see the sign for Providence Farm and turn left up the driveway.

Team Category :

Individual members running for a club will score for their clubs total. The club with the highest point totals at the end of the series will win a club social night at Frontrunners in Langford sponsored by The North Face. The evening will include drinks, appies, 25% store discount and North Face draw prizes.

Showers/Toilets: No showers. A public restroom is located close to the race course.
Awards: Begins at 12:00pm or immediately following the last racer
Refreshments: Edge Energy Drink plus plenty of cookies, fruit and bagels will be available following the race.
Lunch: Post race brunch at the Craig Street Brew Pub, proud supporter of the GutBuster Trail Running Series
