Course Description:	The campus of Royal Roads University, in the Hatley Park National Historic Site, provides the backdrop for the most scenic GutBuster of the series. This challenging course has awesome trails suitable for every level of runner. The route follows roads and trails through the forest and past the majestic Hatley Castle, offering breathtaking views of Esquimalt Lagoon, the city of Victoria and the Olympic Mountains along the way. Whether you are geared up for the short or long course, we invite you to come out and have fun on a spectacular wilderness run.
Directions:	From the Saanich Peninsula and the downtown core take the Island Highway (aka Trans Canada Highway #1) North-West to exit 10 for Colwood and Sooke onto the Old Island Highway (#14). Travel South-West for 3 kilometres (2 miles) and turn left at the University entrance. From North of Greater Victoria take the Island Highway (aka Trans Canada Highway #1) South to exit 11 for Colwood and Sooke onto Atkins Road. Turn right from Atkins Road onto the Old Island Highway (#14). Travel South-west for 3 kilometres (2 miles) and turn left at the University entrance. Google Map to Royal Roads University

Distance:	Short Course - 6 km Regular Course - 11.7 km
Race Starts:	10:00 am SHARP (both the Short and Regular course will start at the same time)
Course Closes:	12:00 pm
Start/Finish:	Lot 7, In front of the Recreation Centre
Registration:	FOUR EASY WAYS TO REGISTER: 1. Register online. 2. Download registration and mail it in 3. Drop off your entry at Frontrunners in Victoria, Nanaimo or Langford (must be dropped off by the Thursday, April 3rd, 2008). 4. Come early on Race Day

Team Category :	Individual members running for a club will score for their clubs total. The club with the highest point totals at the end of the series will win a club social night at Frontrunners in Langford sponsored by The North Face. The evening will include drinks, appies, 25% store discount and North Face draw prizes.
Showers/Toilets:	No showers. A public restroom is located close to the race course.
Awards:	Will be presented at 12:30pm or immediately following the last racer. TONS of draw prizes including lots of North Face prizing, entries to various races, Carb-Boom product, and a weekend for two at the Howard Johnson!
Treatment:	Cook Street Village Health Center will be on hand following the race to offer post-race therapy for racers.
Refreshments:	Hydro Boom drink (by Carb-Boom) plus plenty of cookies, fruit and bagels will be available following the race.
Lunch:	Amazing post race brunch at the Six Mile Pub, proud supporter of the GutBuster Trail Running Series
